David Brook is a Los Angeles-based songwriter specializing in melodies, lyrics and chords. With the rare dynamics of being able to write cross-genre, David has had cuts with artists with everyone from Charlie Puth, One Republic, Keith Urban, Jason Derulo, and Kygo, to Nessa Barrett, Charlotte Lawrence, to Kpop and beyond. David has the upcoming Marshmello x Illenium single “Close My Eyes” coming out mid 2026, and has had cuts this year with Alan Walker, Oskar Med K and more. Additionally, David co-wrote the newest single from Galantis, David Guetta, and 5 Seconds of Summer “Lighter” which reached Top 10 in multiple markets and formats. David also co-wrote “Beautiful Monster” which broke the record for first-week sales by a subunit of a Kpop group (Seventeen). He followed that up with Red Velvet’s “Last Drop” just a couple of months later. In 2025, he also co-wrote two of Charlotte Lawrence’s recent singles “How It Ends” and “Tongue Tied,” the latter of which is the main trailer song for the upcoming Lionsgate film “Wish You All The Best.” He then followed that with Whethan’s “Make a Scene.” David also had the most recent Alan Walker single “Adagio,” and a single of his before that “Dust.” Recently, David's been in sessions with some of the most in-demand artists , writers and producers such as David Guetta, Johnny Goldstein, RØMANS, Castle, Jakke Erixsson, Alana Springsteen, TALK, Oak, 24K Goldn, Sigala, Elley Duhè, Mr. Hudson, Jonas Blue, and many more.
